Partners
The Schoharie Reformed Church is part of The Reformed Church in America denomination. The Schoharie Reformed Church is a part of the local grouping called the Classis of Schoharie and the Regional Synod of Albany.
We are proud to partner with Camp Fowler of Speculator, NY as our camp. We offer assistance for kids to go to camp and encourage all to be campers, volunteers, attend retreats, or just to visit one of the prayer cabins at camp on spiritual retreat.
Ecumenism is important to us. We partner in ministry in many ways with sister churches, especially within the village of Schoharie with The Schoharie United Presbyterian Church and Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church.
We encourage ecumenism and continuing education through The Capital Region Theological Center. Pastor Sherri was on staff at CRTC for nine years.
Our congregation is a part of Ridder Church Renewal, sponsored by Western Theological Seminary with the Reformed and Christian Reformed Church in North America denominations. We encourage and value Faithwalking, on which Ridder is based.
As a historic congregation, our early church building is now The Old Stone Fort museum. Please contact the fort for geneological research.
