FW 202 Info & Registration
Faithwalking 202 is a 13 week course that takes a deeper look at personal transformation principles and practices moving toward a more fully integrated life.
Pre-Requisites: In order to enroll in FW 202, participants need to have completed Faithwalking 101 and 201.
Format: Faithwalking 202 will meet by weekly zoom conference calls that last 1.25 hours. In order to participate fully, participants will need access to a device with a camera and microphone, a good internet connection, and the book by Roberta Gilbert, The Eight Concepts of Bowen Theory.
Homework and Other Requirements: In Faithwalking 202, different from other Faithwalking courses, participants turn in their journaling homework to the facilitator 24 hours before the class session through a Google Classroom. This may be done by uploading documents or scans of handwritten journals. During the 13 weeks, participants dive deeper into their own family system work, using 5 chapters of Gilbert's book, as well as reviewing some of the key concepts of Faithwalking. Homework is expected, and as with all Faithwalking courses, it is both experiential (asks you to do some things) and reflective (asks you to reflect on some things and journal about them).
The cost of this course is $175. Cost should not be a deterrent to attendance. Scholarships may be available from congregations, judicatories, as well as the NY Faithwalking Circle. Please inquire if needed.
