Community Camp

July 15-19, 2024

Schoharie Valley Community Camp is a Christian day camp sponsored by the Schoharie United Presbyterian, Christ the Shepherd Lutheran and Schoharie Reformed Churches of the village of Schoharie with assistance from many other churches.

Open to all children from age 4 through those entering 8th grade.

Morning Camp = Age 4 through entering Grade 2 (8:15 am -12 pm)

Full Day Camp = Entering Grade 3 through Grade 8 (8:15 am -3 pm)

NEW THIS YEAR: Afternoon Arrival for Schoharie Enrichment Program

Schoharie Day Camp is a full day program for youth ages 8-14, and a morning half day for Pre-K/K through grade 2. This year we will also accept campers who are attending the Schoharie Summer Enrichment program for grades 3 and up. These campers will be able to arrive at our scheduled lunch hour and participate in afternoon camp activities with their friends.

Morning Camp:

Children 4 years old through entering grade 2

Based on developmental needs and age-appropriate activities, there are two different sections of Morning Camp: one for Pre-Kers and Kindergartners and another for first and second graders. Be sure to register early as there is limited space and these two sections have filled very quickly in the past!

 8:15   Campers Arrive @ Schoharie United Presbyterian Church

 8:30   Morning Watch (with all of Camp)

 9:15   Recreation

 9:40   Nature/Arts Activities

10:05   Snack & Bathroom Break

10:30   Nature/Arts Activities

11:00   Discovery Time (tailored to the youngest campers)

11:30   Lunch (brought from home)

Noon   Pick-Up @ Schoharie United Presbyterian Church

GRADES 1 & 2 CAMP PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE

 8:15   Campers Arrive @ Schoharie United Presbyterian Church

 8:30   Morning Watch (with all of Camp)

 9:15   Nature/Arts Activities

 9:40   Recreation

10:05   Nature/Arts Activities

10:30   Snack & Bathroom

11:00   Discovery Time (tailored to the youngest campers)

11:30   Lunch (brought from home)               

Noon   Pick-Up @ Schoharie United Presbyterian Church

Children entering grades 3 through 8

 1:45   Flextime/Snack

 2:00   Clean up, pack up, and walk to Reformed Church

 2:15   Vespers

 3:00   Pick-Up @ Schoharie Reformed Church 

Cost:

We work hard to keep camp affordable and thank our many neighbors and local businesses who help make this possible! We would like to see every interested child at camp! 

$60 for the first child with a $100 family maximum.
